K-DOC to Establish 'Korean-style Cosmetic Surgery and Dental Center' in Bali...Selected for the Final Round of the 2023 Medical Overseas Expansion Project

K-DOC, in collaboration with Christmas Plastic Surgery and MediBloc, has been officially selected for the 2023 Medical Overseas Expansion Project Support Business. This prestigious initiative is sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and executed by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute.

With the selection of this project, the K-DOC consortium is set to develop a Korean-style cosmetic surgery and dental center in partnership with a local medical beauty group within the newly established Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Bali, Indonesia. The Sanur Economic Zone is also notable for the anticipated entry of the American Mayo Clinic, further elevating its profile in the international healthcare community.

Christmas Plastic Surgery is tasked with providing consultancy for Korean-style cosmetic surgery clinics in Bali's Seminyak area, while MediBloc will contribute its expertise as a cloud-based hospital Electronic Medical Record (EMR) specialist.

K-DOC's Deputy Representative, Byung-il Kang, articulated the consortium's vision, stating, "The establishment of a Korean-style cosmetic surgery and dental center in Bali marks the beginning of our efforts to broaden the export of ancillary industries, including medical IT, pharmaceuticals/biotech, medical devices, and cosmetics. This initiative is grounded in the advanced medical technology of Korean professionals, aiming to amplify the global presence of Korean medicine and contribute to the creation of national wealth."
