The Korea Intern Resident Association Partners with K-DOC to Strengthen Support for Residents' International Career Paths

K-DOC and the Korea Intern Resident Association (KIRA) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on March 10, 2022, committing to provide comprehensive support for resident physicians. The agreement includes the joint planning and production of content related to both clinical and non-clinical career paths for residents, active promotional cooperation (including member promotions and event participation), and the sharing of domestic and international expert networks and related information.

As the first activity under this agreement, KIRA supported the promotion of the "2nd K-DOC Mission Online Conference" held on March 26, 2022. In April, a joint seminar was organized for residents aspiring to acquire medical licenses in the United States and Japan, providing guidance and information on medical licensing examinations in these countries.

CEO Seung-guk Cho of K-DOC stated, "K-DOC will spare no support in helping residents navigate the challenges of exploring international career paths." Vice President Lee Ji-hoo of KIRA expressed optimism, stating, "This agreement is expected to enhance the support for young doctors looking to expand their careers overseas."
