K-DOC and Medical Student Newspaper Sign MOU to Support Aspiring and Current Medical Professionals

On October 20, 2021, K-DOC successfully signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Joint Project Discovery, Implementation, and Evaluation, and Promotion' with the Medical Student Newspaper, known as a platform for the international expansion of medical professionals.

The Medical Student Newspaper, established in 1996, serves as the leading publication for 20,000 medical students, acting as a communication channel among students at medical schools and graduate schools of medicine for 25 years.

Through this MOU, both parties have agreed to collaborate in various areas including joint discovery, implementation, and evaluation of projects targeting aspiring and current medical professionals, mutual promotional support, and sharing domestic and international expert networks and related information. They share a vision of enabling capable Korean medical professionals to contribute to the improvement of global medical standards.

CEO Seung-kook Cho, at the signing ceremony, stated, "We are planning various projects to help realize the unlimited potential of aspiring and current medical professionals. Not only will we focus on preparing for the future of healthcare where medical professionals play a leading role, but we also aim to create synergy through collaboration on projects related to USMLE, Japanese medical licensing exams, international medical volunteering, and biotech healthcare lectures."

Editor-in-Chief Hyun Kim of the Medical Student Newspaper expressed, "We hope that medical students, burdened by their studies, will find joy in learning about the broader world through the Medical Student Newspaper. We expect that our cooperation with K-DOC will help medical students discover their potential and prepare for the future of healthcare."
